Hell yeah, I've been dying for an official release of Chông Ky!
Also I can't wait to witness you guys live again. Your gig in Cologne in March 2020 was outstanding and I consider myself very fortunate to have been there!
YĪN YĪN are truly a gift to the world. Their music moves me in ways that other can't. When Haw Phin was first put on Facebook, I must have watched it 20-30 times that day.
Favorite track: Haw Phin.
We wrote this song during the quarantine Kees was recording his part from his place and Yves recorded his part at his place. haw pin is Maastricht dialect for „stay strong“ which you can see on a lot of windows at the moment in Maastricht and we mixed it up because we used the „pain“ a lute from Thailand.
This song was recorded like 3 years ago at Yves place, we wrote and recorded it in one night.
I think it’s one of the most different songs we ever did. We are playing it live in a different version.

what an incredible debut album, great informative and historical description as well. not every group has an amazing vocalist and here we are blessed with 2 phenomenal ones (and 2 percussionists to boot!) zephyr707
so many hits on another great release, love seeing the evolution of this group's music. can't stop moving and grooving to Kesik Çayır, love the bird samples and all the textural percussion, what a ride zephyr707
